Privacy Policy
The Apothecary's Bench has no accounts, and never asks for your name, email, photos, camera, microphone, location, or contacts. The only permission it ever asks for is notifications, and only if you turn them on yourself. Here is exactly what does and does not happen with data:
Game progress stays on your device, and in your own iCloud. Benches solved, wax seals earned, pigments discovered, awards and your settings are stored locally. If you are signed in to iCloud, that same short list is also kept in your private iCloud account so the game continues on your other devices. It goes to Apple, under Apple's own privacy policy, and never to us — we do not run a server for it to go to.
Market Day reminders are optional and built on your phone. Notifications are off until you switch them on, and the reminder is scheduled locally by the app itself. Nothing is sent to us, there are no push certificates and no remote server, and switching them off removes every scheduled reminder.
No adverts. There is no ad network in the game, no advertising identifier is read, and there is no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track you with.
No analytics. There is no analytics or tracking SDK of any kind. The app does not send us anything.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details.
Because we hold no accounts and no personal profiles, there is nothing on our side to export or delete. Deleting the app removes everything the game has stored on the device; to remove the iCloud copy as well, turn the game off under iCloud in your device settings.
