There is no light. The maze is drawn only by the sounds you make: tap to send out a pulse, hold to hum, or throw a stone into the dark and listen to where it lands. Between sounds, the walls disappear again.
Everything that hunts you hears the same sounds. Sound is how you see, and it is also how you are found — and every sound costs breath, which is all you have.
Seventy hand-built levels across seven sets: bare mazes, things that hunt, crossings over nothing, locked doors, mazes of rings and spokes, honeycombs, and ten great mazes rebuilt in the dark — Hampton Court, Horta and Versailles traced from their published plans; Chartres, the lost labyrinth at Hawara, and one for the Minotaur, who never had a plan at all.
